The main menu/opening scene where the logo and options appear, which is why there is more dead space in the middle. It was intentionally designed around these elements.

For these areas I created the architectural assets and modular kit used to construct all of the buildings found throughout the Imperial levels. I also created most of the modular assets used to build out all of the castle structural elements, with materials from Don Creger. Additionally I created the key gameplay elements (towers, gem bases, and healing pools), as well as many other props. The images shown are a small sample of the levels I was responsible for doing the layout and set dressing pass on that related to the Imperial faction.

Don Creger and I worked together as the Environment Artists on the project. I focused more on asset creation while he built our material library and created assets as well. We also took on roughly half of the levels each to do the layout and set dressing pass. Our Art Director Andy Meier played a huge role in the environment art, as well as overall feedback and direction, and also doing all of the final lighting throughout the game. This project was a huge team effort, but a special shout out to the amazing tech artists and concept artists at Sunblink. It was a true honor to work with the incredible team on this game.
